The elegant round edge sill.
Although you might sometimes hear of a bullnose being referred to as a round, we distinguish the two as separate profiles. Whereas the bullnose is a full round of the front edge of the window sill, our round profile is a 6.3mm radius rounding to the top and bottom of the front edge, leaving a slight square edge to the front.

Machined using the same high quality and durable solid oak that we use for all of our oak window board profiles, the round edge window sill is a beautifully crafted window sill that offers an alternative to the bullnose, chamfer and square edge profiles that we also have available in our solid oak window sill range.

As an additional option, we'll machine a round profile to the ends of your window board, otherwise known as 'the returns'.
The exact length.
Whether it’s a short or long window sill that you’re after we’re almost certainly able to cater to your requirements from our defined ordering options. Starting as short as 0.6m and ranging up to 2.4m in length we’re sure we have what you need. Our length increases of 0.3m increments also provides you with the best way to select the window sill most closely matching your dimensions, saving costly wood waste.
The perfect width.
We currently provide 5 width options with our round edged window sills, although can often cater to bespoke sizes when needed. We understand that a window reveal can vary greatly in width (depth) which is why you can choose from our size options of 200mm, 225mm, 250mm, 275mm and 300mm, or contact us if you need something somewhat narrower or wider. In fact this principle is true for the width and thickness that you require too.
The ideal thickness.
Like all of our solid oak window sills, the round edged window sill is available in thicknesses of 20mm, 25mm and 30mm. Each featuring the same closely profiled 6.3mm radius round, we make sure that all of our sills exceed expectations no matter which thickness you choose. Precisely machined and sanded by hand, the round edge window board is a great choice in any home that wants a modern look and eye-catching solid oak window sills.
